The QA Tester will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with developers to understand system functionalities, performing manual testing, and preparing detailed quality assurance documentation.

Analytical evaluation and precise execution are key to ensuring software meets the required standards and user expectations.\n\nweek1:\nAPI testing setup — hit every backend endpoint with Postman/Insomnia: auth flows, error handling, rate limits, edge cases\nTest persona assignment logic — verify different student profiles get correctly tagged and receive appropriate content\nTest content delivery — verify lecture variations for the same topic are genuinely different across personas and languages\nmonth1:\nAPI testing across all backend services — verify each endpoint handles valid, invalid, and boundary inputs correctly\nLoad testing — simulate 100, 1,000, 5,000 concurrent users and identify breaking points\nTest content pipeline output — for sample topics, verify all variations render correctly: video plays, audio syncs, correct language\nTest scoring, gamification, and streak tracking for exploits and edge cases\nDatabase integrity — verify student progress saves correctly across sessions, devices, and network interruptions\nlookingFor:\nMore technical than a typical manual tester — comfortable with APIs, databases, and scripting. When verifying hundreds of content variations, you write a script that batch-checks the schema, then manually spot-check edge cases.\nUnderstands that in EdTech, content accuracy is as critical as functionality.
