Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SAC Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Financial Consolidation processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing SAC solutions, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning models, and supporting finance transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Functional Consulting

• Design and implement SAP SAC solutions aligned with statutory, management, and financial reporting requirements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Support financial reporting, consolidation, and close management processes.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, planning effectiveness, and business insights.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, adjustments, and issue resolution activities.
• Prepare and validate consolidated financial reports and statements.

Financial Consolidation & Reporting

• Strong understanding of Financial Consolidation processes and reporting requirements.
• Support:
• Intercompany Eliminations
• Intercompany Reconciliation
• Ownership Structures and Step Acquisitions
• Currency Translation
• Constant Currency Reporting
• Group Reporting Requirements
• Prepare and validate:
• Profit & Loss Statements
• Balance Sheets
• Cash Flow Statements
• Statement of Changes in Equity

SAC Planning

• Develop and maintain SAC Planning models and planning applications.
• Support enterprise planning processes including:
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Driver-Based Planning
• Configure and maintain:
• Data Actions
• Allocations
• Business Rules
• Calculations
• Input Templates
• Build and enhance SAC Planning Stories, Dashboards, and Reports.
• Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, and End-User Training activities.

Data Integration & Support

• Support integration of financial and operational data from SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Perform data reconciliation and troubleshoot reporting/planning issues.
• Work closely with Finance teams during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Mandatory Skills

• 10–15 years of overall SAP experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience.
• Strong expertise in SAC Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Consolidation concepts and financial reporting processes.

• Strong understanding of:
• Intercompany Eliminations

• Experience working in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and business requirement gathering skills.
• Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Group Reporting.
• Experience with SAP BPC.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance Integration.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP Accounting Standards.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP SAC implementation projects.
• Finance domain background (CA / CPA / MBA Finance preferred).

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• CA / CPA / MBA Finance preferred.
