Job Title: Fieldglass (FG) / Enable SME

Experience: 8–14 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fieldglass and Enable platforms to provide functional and operational leadership across demand management, governance, change control, audit compliance, and business-as-usual (BAU) support. The role requires direct engagement with business leaders, high-profile stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams to ensure stable operations, compliant releases, and effective demand delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary SME for Fieldglass and Enable platforms, serving as the key point of contact for business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Partner with business users, product owners, and technology teams to understand new demands, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate demand intake discussions while ensuring ongoing BAU operations remain stable and effective.
  • Provide expert guidance on platform capabilities, risks, dependencies, and business impacts.

Demand & Change Governance

  • Perform Demand Impact Assessments for all requests impacting Fieldglass, Enable, and related cross-functional systems.
  • Review and validate solution impacts, risks, dependencies, and implementation approaches.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for changes entering production, ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Review and approve CAB-related documentation and impact assessments prior to change implementation.
  • Provide inputs to Technology Demand Estimation (TDE) processes for CAB 3 reviews.
  • Review and sign off TDE effort estimates and associated implementation plans for CAB 3 submissions.

Release & Deployment Management

  • Enforce release management standards and governance requirements, including:
  • Testing evidence validation
  • Rollback and contingency planning
  • Communication planning
  • Monitoring readiness
  • Post-release validation and sign-off
  • Ensure delivery teams provide complete and accurate impact assessments for CAB 3 changes.
  • Manage, validate, and approve CAB impact assessments for Fieldglass and Enable platforms.
  • Approve FFID requests and transport movements in accordance with governance controls.
  • Approve ServiceNow (SNOW) service requests related to platform changes and support activities.

Operational Excellence & BAU Support

  • Ensure stable and reliable BAU service delivery across supported platforms.
  • Oversee incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Track and manage operational KPIs and service performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.

Audit, Risk & Compliance

  • Lead annual audit activities, including stakeholder engagement, evidence gathering, documentation reviews, and audit response coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Operate and maintain SOX controls within the supported platforms and processes.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with governance and risk teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.

Financial & Cost Governance

  • Work closely with EP FINOPs teams to initiate and track CAB 3 cost recovery activities.
  • Validate cost impacts and support financial governance processes related to demand and change execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in enterprise application support, governance, or SME roles.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Fieldglass and/or Enable platforms.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as Integration, MDG, SuccessFactors, Saviynt, and related business applications.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management, CAB processes, Release Management, and IT Governance frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW), transport management, and approval workflows.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit processes, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile and ITIL-based service management environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent Service Management certification.
  • Experience supporting global enterprise platforms and multi-vendor delivery models.
  • Exposure to SAP ecosystem applications and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of financial governance and cost recovery processes.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional change initiatives in regulated environments.
