About the Role:

We are looking for a Commercial Technology Operations Administrator to support and enhance enterprise procurement orchestration capabilities through the administration, development, automation, and governance of the Zip platform. This role combines Application Development and DevOps responsibilities, focusing on workflow automation, API integrations, platform security, CI/CD enablement, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise applications, APIs, and automation workflows while ensuring compliance, scalability, security, and reliability of business-critical technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Administration & Governance
• Administer and maintain the Zip procurement orchestration platform, ensuring platform stability, reliability, and availability.
• Establish and enforce governance, change management, and configuration management practices within a low-code/no-code environment.
• Maintain secure configuration baselines, workflow versioning, approval controls, and audit compliance.
• Monitor platform performance and proactively address operational issues.

Application Development & Workflow Automation:

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance workflow solutions and automation capabilities on the Zip platform.
• Support end-to-end application development activities, including configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop scalable workflow orchestration solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Leverage scripting and templating frameworks to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

API Development & Integrations:

• Build, enhance, and support APIs throughout the complete API lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain integrations between procurement platforms and enterprise applications.
• Ensure secure API design, authentication, authorization, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues while optimizing performance and reliability.

DevOps & DevSecOps:

• Support and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and secure application deployments.
• Implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices across development and operational processes.
• Participate in deployment planning, release management, and environment support activities.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and controls.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management:

• Manage authentication mechanisms, role-based access controls, and platform security configurations.
• Support compliance reviews, audits, and control assessments.
• Document operational procedures, security controls, and governance processes.
• Identify and mitigate security, compliance, and operational risks within the platform ecosystem.

Agile Delivery & Operational Support:

• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlog items and define technical requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide effort estimation, progress tracking, and timely delivery of assigned work.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise:

• 14+ years of experience in Application Development, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Technology Operations roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application development and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with API development, API lifecycle management, and enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure application development methodologies.
• Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and security best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases and persistent data management concepts.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-based enterprise applications is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Domain Knowledge:

• Understanding of procurement, source-to-pay (S2P), procure-to-pay (P2P), supply chain, or commercial technology ecosystems is preferred.
• Familiarity with workflow governance, change control processes, and application compliance frameworks.
