Manager | Enabling Areas - Financial Accounts | Finance & Accounts\nLocation - Mumbai\nYour Work Profile\nAccruals and allocations:\nReview transaction and process accruals.\nUnderstand business rules for allocation and execute during the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.\nFinancial Analysis:\nConduct detailed variance analysis and expense reviews, directly contributing to the identification of cost-saving opportunities.\nPerform the actual calculations, and deep analysis, and not just review analysis.\nDirectly analyze headcount, utilization, billing and other statistical data needed for group reporting\nReconciliation & Control: Precision at the Forefront:\nConduct profit and loss reconciliation and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring data integrity.\nMonth-End & Reporting:\nActively participate in the month-end close process.\nCraft and refine financial reports, getting into the nitty-gritty of data validation and analysis.\nGenerate Group reports as per the calendar.\nAccounting Operations:\nBe the face of Accounting Operations to the Business Unit Finance leader and COO\nMaintain Operation level governance with execution teams in Payroll, AR/AP, expense reports to understand evolution of financials\nPersonally analyze L3 P&L, balance sheets, and statistical data, uncovering trends and anomalies.\nSuggest process improvement opportunities to Accounting Operations based on trends/anomalies noted and feedback from the Business Unit leadership.\nForecasting & Planning: Collaborative Building:\nCollaborate with teams to develop and refine financial forecasts and plans, actively contributing to the modeling and analysis.\nReporting & Presentations: Hands-On Creation:\nDevelop and refine MIS reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and accuracy.\nDirectly work on the global report submissions.\nCollaboration & Coordination: Active Partnership:\nWork closely with the Accounting team, Propel finance & business units, and global teams, providing hands-on support and expertise.\nActively coordinate with global teams.\nStatutory Accounts:\nPrepare statutory accounts for the entity as per applicable GAAP.\nActively coordinate with Tax team and other accounting operations teams.\n\nKey Skills Required\n10+ years of experience in GL/FP&A within a service-based organization; candidates with prior experience in professional services, consulting services or technology services would be preferred\nChartered Accountant or ACCA or CWA\nAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a focus on practical application.\nDeep, hands-on working knowledge of SAP.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detailed analysis.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nHands-On Financial Expertise\nDetailed Analytical Acumen\nPractical SAP Proficiency\nCollaborative Problem-Solving\nEffective Communication\nProactive Task Management\nStory telling skills
