Qualification: Master’s Degree / B.Tech (or equivalent) in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related field from a recognized University/Institution

Position Overview

PwC is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Officer – IT / MIS Expert to support government advisory and consulting assignments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in MIS systems, data management, and IT advisory while working closely with public sector stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT advisory and consultancy support for State/Central Government sponsored schemes and projects
• Design, develop, and manage database systems, MIS platforms, and dashboards
• Support project teams in data analysis, reporting, and monitoring frameworks
• Assist in conducting baseline surveys and data collection activities
• Contribute to the development of 5-year perspective plans based on insights and project data
• Work closely with client teams at the on-site government office to ensure effective implementation

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT roles
• Experience in an advisory/consultancy role for Government projects (State/Central) is desired
• Hands-on experience in:
• Database development
• MIS systems and dashboard creation
• Data analysis and visualization tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience in public sector or government consulting projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
