Required Technical Skills

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across Azure cloud environments to protect applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage identity, network, application, and data security using Azure-native security services.
• Support secure deployment of cloud workloads by enforcing security best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.

Must Have Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Security.
2. In-depth knowledge of Identity & Access Management:

• Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID)
• RBAC
• Managed Identities

1. Experience securing Azure networking:

• NSG
• Azure Firewall
• Private Endpoints
• VNet
• VPN

1. Familiarity with application and API security:

• OAuth 2.0
• Token-based Authentication
• Secure REST APIs

1. Experience with:

• Security Monitoring
• Logging
• Incident Response
• using Azure-native tools.

Good to Have

• Experience with:
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM)
• Azure Monitor
• Knowledge of Container and Kubernetes (AKS) Security.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

1. Implement and manage Azure security configurations to protect cloud workloads and enterprise data.
2. Enforce identity, access, and privilege management best practices across applications and services.
3. Secure network, API, and application layers, ensuring protection against common vulnerabilities and threats.
4. Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and support incident response and remediation activities.
5. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and cloud security best practices.
