Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining the HMMS (Hazardous Material Management System) application, software, and system configurations, including managing user access, and upgrading system performance.
- Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Conducting regular audits of CAGE/Company information and chemical data to ensure accuracy. This involves verifying SDS (Safety Data Sheet) entries, reconciling data in HMMS, and maintaining data governance.
- Workflow and Template Configuration: Implementing, configuring, and maintaining SpheraCloud and other software modules to fit specific client needs, including setting up standardized workflows for EHS and risk management.
- Data Migration and Integration: Assisting in migrating data from legacy systems to SpheraCloud, including providing templates and performing data validation during implementation.
- Technical Support and Training: Providing 24/7 technical support, training "power users" in a "train-the-trainer" format, and facilitating user access and training documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring that software, such as the Product Compliance suite, remains up-to-date with changing global regulations (e.g., GHS, REACH) and providing audit-proof records.
- Performance Optimization: Monitoring system performance, using reporting tools to validate data, and utilizing analytics dashboards to improve decision-making.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, with experience in environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Sphera EA with system administration, emissions monitoring, data management, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of EHS, LCA and overall Sustainability methodologies
- Familiarity with EPA guidelines and emission factors.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
