Job Requirements

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Officer / Sr. Officer - HR to manage critical HR operations for our India and global employee population. This role will primarily focus on India Offboarding processes and GMT, including forex coordination for employees traveling internationally. The position requires strong process discipline, compliance awareness, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Offboarding Process

  • Manage end-to-end offboarding activities for India employees, including exit formalities, clearance, documentation, and system updates.
  • Create and maintain offboarding checklists, timelines, and milestones; monitor progress and follow up as needed.
  • Coordinate IT de-provisioning, asset return (laptops, badges, phones, etc.) and access revocation across systems
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies during separation.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and IT teams for final settlement and asset recovery.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate periodic reports on attrition and exit trends.

GMT (Global Mobility Tool)

  • Handle documentation for employees traveling internationally, including visa support letters, travel approvals, and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate forex arrangements for employees as per company policy and regulatory guidelines.
  • Liaise with travel partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of travel-related documentation.

Governance & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for offboarding and GMT processes.
  • Ensure audit readiness through accurate record-keeping and adherence to compliance standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance and Global Mobility teams for seamless execution of processes.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding offboarding and travel-related queries.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Support automation initiatives and contribute to process improvement projects.

Key Requirements:

Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in HR operations, with exposure to offboarding and global travel processes.
  • Prior experience in handling compliance-driven HR activities and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and statutory compliance in India.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Behavioural Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines.
