Service mapping- ITOM Lead developer

Role Overview
The ITOM Lead Developer will lead hands-on development and configuration of Service Mapping solutions, working closely with the Architect to deliver scalable and high-quality ITOM implementations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead development and configuration of Service Mapping and supporting ITOM modules.
• Translate service mapping designs into technical configurations and scripts.
• Create, maintain, and optimize service maps across application and infrastructure layers.
• Configure discovery patterns, entry points, probes, sensors, and identification rules.
• Perform impact analysis for new services and changes.
• Review code, service maps, and configurations created by developers.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), UAT, and production rollouts.
• Troubleshoot complex ITOM, discovery, and CMDB data issues.
• Ensure adherence to platform standards, performance, and security guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of ServiceNow experience with strong ITOM focus.
• Hands-on expertise in Service Mapping and Discovery.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules).
• Experience with CMDB normalization, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Working knowledge of integrations and IntegrationHub.
Certifications (Preferred)
• ServiceNow CSA
• ServiceNow CIS – ITOM
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
