Job Title: Senior Android Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 6 years of experience in building high-quality mobile applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, modern Android development practices, and a solid understanding of scalable architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Android features end-to-end
- Build and maintain UI using Compose and XML
- Implement scalable and modularize applications.
- Integrate third-party SDKs
- Optimize performance, stability, and app quality
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
- Work in an agile environment
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Android development using modern frameworks(5 years)
- Proficient in Kotlin
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and legacy XML where required
- Solid understanding of XML-based UI development with DataBinding and ViewBinding
- Hands-on with Jetpack Components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.)
- Experience with MVVM architecture
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection frameworks
- Experience in multi-module project structure
- Strong knowledge of Gradle configurations
- Experience writing unit test cases
- Familiarity with Firebase Analytics and third-party SDKs
- Experience integrating Google Maps / Here Maps
Good to Have
- CI/CD pipeline exposure
- Performance optimization experience
- Experience in publishing apps to Play Store
Soft Skills
- Strong team player
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Additional certifications in Agile, DevOps, GenAI, Cloud is preferred.
