As we continue expanding our Solar EPC operations, we're now venturing into Electric 2-Wheelers for mass adoption — and we’re looking for a seasoned technical leader to shape this future with us.
Your Role:
As Technical Head – EV 2W , you will lead the product sourcing, technical evaluation, and compliance aspects of our electric 2-wheeler vertical. You will be responsible for aligning product selection with Indian consumer needs, market trends, and government certifications.
'05; What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Evaluate and source high-potential EV-2W products tailored for Indian market (low-speed & high-speed)
- Understand consumer behavior, driving patterns, pricing sensitivity, and warranty expectations
- Ensure product compliance with AIS, ICAT, and other certification norms
- Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and testing labs for homologation and certification processes
- Recommend product mix based on terrain, climate, and end-user demographics
- Guide the team on battery range, charging infrastructure, warranties, and service requirements
- Work closely with the business team to drive go-to-market strategies
You Should Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in Electric 2-Wheelers in India
- Proven experience in product sourcing, certification, or engineering
- In-depth knowledge of FAME-II policies, BIS/AIS standards, and RTO norms
- Strong network with OEMs, vendors, or EV manufacturers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup ecosystem with a builder’s mindset
