Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience with at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA migration or conversion project .
• Hands-on experience working in RISE with SAP environments .
• Strong experience in transitioning systems from project implementation to BAU support.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in global delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently and lead BASIS operations in enterprise-scale SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of SAP services from the SAP S/4HANA Migration Project team to the SAP BASIS BAU support organization , ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.
• Administer and support SAP landscapes including SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA Database, SAP Fiori, and Gateway systems.
• Manage SAP systems hosted under RISE with SAP and collaborate with SAP Premier Services for incident resolution, service requests, and operational governance.
• Perform SAP BASIS activities including system installation, upgrades, migrations, conversions, kernel upgrades, patching, system refreshes, and client copies .
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity to ensure compliance with SLAs and business requirements.
• Administer Transport Management System (TMS) , manage transport requests, and coordinate release activities across landscapes.
• Support SAP HANA database administration activities including backups, recovery, performance tuning, and maintenance.
• Administer SAP Fiori and Gateway components, ensuring availability and performance of business applications.
• Develop and maintain transition documentation, operational runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge transfer materials.
• Coordinate incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL standards and enterprise governance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to resolve issues and implement continuous improvements.
• Support disaster recovery, high availability configurations, system audits, and compliance requirements.
