About the Role – Program Advisor


Summary of Job


The Program Advisor will be responsible for driving enrollments and revenue growth for EconomicTimes.com’s Learning Division through consultative B2C sales. The role involves engaging with prospective learners, understanding their career aspirations and learning objectives, and recommending the most suitable learning solutions from ET’s portfolio of executive education programs, professional certifications, masterclasses, workshops, and career advancement offerings.


The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for helping individuals make informed career and learning decisions while consistently achieving sales targets and delivering an exceptional customer experience.


Work Responsibilities


Sales & Enrollment Management


* Engage with prospective learners through inbound and outbound calls, emails, WhatsApp, and virtual consultations.

* Understand learner profiles, career aspirations, professional challenges, and skill development goals.

* Recommend suitable learning programs based on individual career objectives and learning needs.

* Conduct consultative sales conversations and effectively communicate program value propositions, curriculum highlights, faculty credentials, career outcomes, and learning benefits.

* Handle objections confidently and guide prospects through the enrollment journey.

* Drive conversions and consistently achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment targets.

* Follow up with prospective learners through structured lead nurturing processes to maximize conversion opportunities.

* Ensure timely closure of sales opportunities while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.


Customer Advisory & Relationship Management


* Act as a trusted learning advisor for prospective learners throughout the decision-making process.

* Provide accurate and detailed information regarding program structure, schedules, fees, certifications, learning outcomes, and support services.

* Build strong relationships with prospects through personalized engagement and consultative guidance.

* Address learner concerns professionally and ensure a seamless enrollment experience.

* Support learners through the admission and onboarding process wherever required.


Lead Management & CRM Excellence


* Manage and prioritize assigned leads efficiently to maximize productivity and conversion rates.

* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, lead statuses, and sales activities within CRM systems.

* Ensure complete CRM hygiene and adherence to sales processes and documentation requirements.

* Track lead progression and maintain visibility into pipeline performance.


Market Intelligence & Customer Insights


* Gather customer feedback, objections, and market insights to improve sales effectiveness and program positioning.

* Identify recurring learner concerns and share recommendations with product, marketing, and leadership teams.

* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging professional learning requirements.


Process Adherence & Collaboration


* Follow established sales processes, compliance guidelines, and customer engagement standards.

* Collaborate with marketing, operations, admissions, and learner success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.

* Participate in sales training, coaching programs, and continuous learning initiatives to enhance performance.

Eligibility


* Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

* 1–5 years of experience in B2C sales, inside sales, admissions counseling, education counseling, telesales, or customer acquisition roles.

* Prior experience in EdTech, Executive Education, Professional Learning, Higher Education, Financial Services, Insurance, or Consultative Sales environments will be preferred.

* Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

* Experience handling working professionals and career-oriented customers will be an added advantage.

* Fluency in English and Hindi is required. Additional regional language proficiency will be a plus.
