Job Title: Structural Design Engineer-Steel Structures (Euro Standard)
Experience: 5-8 years
Location: Hosur (ONSITE)
Employment: Full-Time
Education: B.E. with at least 7 years of experience is mandatory, or M.E. (Structural) with a minimum of 5 years of experience is mandatory.
Workdays: 5 working days

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in Steel Structures to join our team in SES, Hosur.
Key Responsibilities
1. Structural Analysis & Design
Perform structural analysis and design of metal building frames, secondary framing, and connections using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structure Design, AutoCAD, and Idea Statica ).
Ensure designs comply with applicable Euro-codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, AISI, MBMA) and project-specific requirements for UK & EU standards.
Knowledge in design performance for PEB Steel Structures
Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability while maintaining structural integrity.
2. Material Selection & Compliance
Choose appropriate construction materials based on structural requirements and environmental considerations.
Ensure all designs and materials comply with local (EU, UK & US) building codes and regulations.
3. Project Coordination & Management
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall projects.
Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Conduct design review meeting with client & Consultants and address any on-site challenges.
4. Inspection & Maintenance
Inspect existing structures to assess their condition and determine necessary repairs or reinforcements.
Develop maintenance plans to prolong the lifespan of structures and ensure ongoing safety.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare detailed reports, including design specifications, analysis results, and project updates.
Maintain accurate records of all design modifications and construction activities.
Requirements
· Educational B.E or M.E Structural.
· Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software and structural analysis tools such as , Tekla Structure Design, AutoCAD, and Idea Statica .
· Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
· Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design and analysis to ensure safety and compliance.
· SAP2000 is an added advantage.
