As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Product Marketing to define our product positioning, sharpen our messaging, support revenue growth, and serve as the bridge between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
Role Overview:
The Director of Product Marketing will own the positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, competitive intelligence, analyst relations support, sales enablement, and product storytelling for the ExpertusOne platform.
This role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, market insight, customer empathy, product understanding, and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management, Business Solutions Group (BSG), Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to ensure that ExpertusOne's value proposition is clearly communicated and differentiated in the market.
The ideal candidate understands enterprise SaaS, B2B technology marketing, and preferably the Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Development, HR Technology, or Learning Management System market.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Define and continuously refine ExpertusOne's positioning, messaging, and value propositions.

- Build messaging frameworks and narrative strategies for new product releases and strategic initiatives.
Go-To-Market Strategy
- Lead go-to-market planning for product launches, feature releases, platform enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop launch plans that align Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Create launch readiness programs and internal communication plans.
- Establish launch success metrics and measure business impact.
Product & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research and identify emerging trends within:

- Maintain detailed competitive intelligence on major LMS and learning technology vendors.

Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting
- Build demonstration narratives and use-case-driven storytelling.
- Create industry-specific solution positioning.
- Assist in high-value opportunities and RFP responses.
Business Solutions Group (BSG)
- Align solution messaging with customer business outcomes.
- Support enterprise proposals and strategic account pursuits.
- Develop solution-specific positioning frameworks.
Customer Success
- Capture customer success stories and business outcomes.
- Create case studies, references, and customer advocacy programs.
- Support customer expansion and adoption initiatives.
Corporate Marketing
- Align demand generation activities with product positioning.
- Support campaigns, webinars, events, analyst programs, and thought leadership initiatives.
Sales Enablement
- Own the creation and maintenance of:
- Sales decks
- Product presentations
- Solution briefs
- One-pagers
- Battle cards
- Competitive matrices
- ROI messaging
- Value proposition frameworks
- Train sales and pre-sales teams on product positioning and market differentiation.
- Develop industry-specific and persona-specific sales assets.
Analyst & Thought Leadership Support
- Support relationships with industry analysts and market influencers.
- Contribute to analyst briefings and evaluation submissions.

Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- 15–18+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
- 5+ years in Product Marketing leadership roles.
- Experience marketing enterprise software platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of product positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Sales organizations.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and complex buying committees.
