Quantum Engineer - Characterisation and Benchmarking
Job Description
This role involves the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments to characterize the performance of quantum devices, such as superconducting qubits.\nRequirements\nMSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.\nExperience with designing and implementing experimental setups, performing quantum measurements using platforms such as superconducting qubits, cold atoms. Strong skill set including cryogenic systems, microwave electronics, for superconducting qubit device characterization is a plus\nDevelop and implement experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, quantum state and process tomography.\nKnowledge and strong understanding of circuit QED, error-correction schemes preferably in superconducting qubits.\nProven track record of successful projects involving superconducting materials and devices.\nMaintain and optimize cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.\nExperience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.\nPublications in peer-reviewed journals or conference presentations in the field of quantum technology is a plus.\nExperience in writing analysis reports to help the definition of DoE and improvement plan for experimentation plan is a plus.\nGood problem solving and communication skills.\nShould be a good team player.
