Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibility:\nHW Engineers (3-8 Years)\nPreferred location - Chennai\nExperience - 3-5 Years\nTechnical Skills\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience\nExperience in Fixed Access Product Hardware Design including ONT and Residential Gateway, with proven end-to-end delivery in time-to-market environments. Solid understanding of full product lifecycle and hardware development processes\nFamiliarity with GPON/EPON technologies and hands-on experience in Digital Circuit systems design with strong OLT/ONT background\nExperience in Wi-Fi RF, antennas hardware design, testing, and certification\nExperience in cost-optimized hardware design and component selection, leveraging local low-cost ecosystems\nGood understanding of mechanical design principles and hardware product design across multiple SKUs\nDirect involvement in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for both manufacturing and field-level issues\nExperience collaborating with external suppliers and ODM vendors\nFamiliarity with telecom standards such as ETSI, NESC, Telcordia, and E2E PBKS\nStrong understanding of Ethernet IP networking, optical transmission (PON), Wi-Fi RF, and POTS\nProficiency in circuit design tools and EDA environments including Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, CST, HFSS, Flotherm XT, PLD/FPGA design tools\nExperience in analog circuit design and power module development is a strong plus\nOther Skills\nFluent in English with strong communication and collaboration skills\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities\nWillingness to contribute with creative, out-of-the-box solutions\nAbility to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment\nCross-functional collaboration across global teams to ensure product excellence
