Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designing Trainer role based in Patna. The trainer will plan and deliver practical and theoretical fashion design classes, including pattern making, garment construction, fitting, and finishing techniques. Responsibilities include demonstrating embroidery and textile applications, guiding learners through design projects, and mentoring them on portfolio development. The role involves preparing lesson plans and assessments, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The trainer will also support curriculum enhancement, maintain classroom discipline and safety, and collaborate with academic staff to ensure high-quality training aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications


  • Strong practical and theoretical skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to teach core design concepts and processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in Embroidery and related embellishment techniques suitable for classroom demonstrations and projects.
  • Proficiency in garment Fitting, pattern cutting, and construction to guide learners in creating well-finished garments.
  • Sound knowledge of Textiles, fabrics, and material usage, including care, selection, and application in design.
  • Prior experience as a fashion designer, trainer, or faculty member in fashion or design education is preferred.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a learner-centric teaching approach.
  • Ability to design engaging lesson plans, use basic design tools or software, and stay updated with current fashion trends.
