Role Summary
As a Neurologist (Telehealth Consultant), you will provide virtual consultations for patients with neurological disorders and symptoms, offer expert medical guidance, recommend treatment plans, and support patients in managing neurological conditions through the CareMeez platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online consultations via video, audio, or chat.
- Assess and manage patients with neurological symptoms and disorders.
- Evaluate conditions such as headaches, migraines, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, vertigo, and other neurological concerns.
- Review diagnostic reports, neuroimaging studies, and laboratory investigations when available.
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Counsel patients and caregivers regarding disease management and preventive care.
- Refer patients for in-person evaluation, hospitalization, emergency care, or specialized procedures when clinically necessary.
- Maintain accurate consultation records and clinical documentation.
Requirements
- MBBS with DM/DNB in Neurology or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with NMC or State Medical Council.
- Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to provide consultations in English, Hindi, or regional languages.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and smartphone/laptop.
- Prior telemedicine experience is preferred but not mandatory.
