Hiring: Senior Manager – Data Engineering

Location: Noida (Work from Office – 5 Days)

Our Client is looking for a hands-on Data Engineering leader to build and scale enterprise-grade data platforms, ETL pipelines, and modern Data Lake ecosystems supporting analytics, AI, and real-time business use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage enterprise Data Lake and data pipeline ecosystems
• Design and manage large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing
• Build and optimize data platforms using AWS and GCP technologies
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Define and enforce data modeling standards across warehouse and lakehouse layers
• Ensure observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence across pipelines
• Collaborate with infrastructure, product, business, and vendor teams
• Lead and mentor Data Engineering teams while driving agile delivery and daily execution

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR
• Hands-on experience with GCP BigQuery
• Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline creation and management
• Experience managing Data Lakes / Lakehouse architectures
• Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills
• Experience handling both real-time and batch data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Spark/PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, Databricks
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and production ownership mindset

Preferred Background:

• 11+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform roles
• Experience handling large-scale production data environments
• Fintech, Payments, Product, or Enterprise Data Platform background preferred
• B.Tech / BE mandatory
