Location: Bangalore (On-site)

Experience: 5–10 Years

Reporting To: Sales Head – Solutions & Services

Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Development Manager – IT Infrastructure Solutions to drive growth across our infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services portfolio.

This role is responsible for generating opportunities, qualifying customer requirements, shaping infrastructure solutions, and converting opportunities into profitable business.

The ideal candidate understands both IT infrastructure products and solution-led selling and can work closely with OEMs, distributors, presales teams, and delivery teams to build customer-focused solutions.


Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Opportunity Generation

• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, existing customers, partner ecosystem, and strategic outreach

• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities

• Develop relationships with IT Heads, CIOs, CTOs, Operations Heads, and business decision-makers

Infrastructure Solution Selling

• Engage customers to understand infrastructure, security, cloud, and operational requirements

• Position infrastructure solutions including:

  • Servers & Storage
  • Networking Solutions
  • Firewalls & Security Solutions
  • End User Computing
  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Managed IT Services

• Work with OEMs, distributors, and technical teams to build commercially viable solutions

Opportunity Qualification & Commercial Ownership

• Conduct customer discovery and requirement validation

• Qualify opportunities based on customer fit, business need, budget, and implementation feasibility

• Own opportunities from qualification through closure

• Protect margins while maintaining competitiveness

• Ensure commercial proposals align with approved pricing and governance frameworks

Proposal & Solution Coordination

• Coordinate with presales, OEMs, partners, and delivery teams

• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial responses

• Clearly define scope, assumptions, deliverables, and exclusions

Sales-to-Delivery Handover

• Ensure all technical, commercial, and delivery requirements are documented accurately

• Support smooth transition from sales to delivery

• Retain ownership until delivery formally accepts the engagement

CRM & Sales Discipline

• Maintain all opportunities, activities, proposals, and forecasts within CRM

• Ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy

• Follow approved sales, pricing, and governance processes

You Should Apply If You Have

• 5-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Solution Sales, System Integration Sales, Managed Services Sales, or Enterprise Technology Sales

• Experience selling infrastructure-led solutions such as servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, or managed services

• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, or system integration companies

• Strong consultative selling and customer engagement skills

• Ability to understand customer requirements and shape practical infrastructure solutions

• Experience managing opportunities from prospecting through closure

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
