DLP Operations Lead

Role: DLP Operations Leadership

Experience: 7+ years

Location: Mumbai

• Lead day‑to‑day DLP monitoring, investigation, incident response, and escalation activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for DLP operations.
• Drive operational maturity by defining and tracking SLAs, KPIs, and response timelines .
• Assess risk and determine business impact of data leakage incidents.
• Lead, mentor, and review work of junior DLP analysts .
• Coordinate with SOC, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams during DLP incidents.
• Handle business exceptions, risk acceptance decisions , and policy escalations.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with technical and non‑technical stakeholders .
• Strong spoken English with the ability to lead discussions and incident calls.

Endpoint, Cloud,Inline & Email Security

• Hands‑on management of enterprise DLP solutions (e.g. Zscaler, Microsoft Purview DLP, Symantec, Forcepoint)
• Design, create, tune, and optimize DLP policies across: Endpoints, Email, Cloud platforms, and Network channels
• Perform incident triage, investigation, root cause analysis , and false‑positive reduction.
• Knowledge of data discovery and data flow mapping across enterprise environments.

Process, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Create and maintain DLP SOPs, investigation playbooks, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of DLP processes, workflows, and automation.
• Produce clear operational and risk reports for leadership.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001,– as applicable)
• Alignment of DLP controls with organizational policies and Procedure
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting
