Tracfox is building the agentic compliance platform for regulated industries. Our customers' regulatory posture -- their ability to demonstrate compliance to auditors, regulators, and their own boards -- depends on what our systems output. Every obligation we extract, every answer our AI gives, every change we ship has real-world consequences for the companies that trust us. We treat that responsibility as the product, not as a constraint on the product.

CORE REQUIREMENTS -- EVERY MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF
These are non-negotiable. Specialist depth requirements stack on top of these; they do not substitute.
1. AI-native engineering practice (mandatory)
You have already made the transition. We are not training you on how to use agents -- we are hiring you because you have already internalized it and have opinions about where the current generation of tools is weak. Concretely, you can show us:
- A shipped artifact -
- A specs-and-evals practice.
- Autonomy-slider fluency.
We follow Karpathy's framing: vibe coding raises the floor; agentic engineering raises the ceiling without lowering the quality bar. Regulatory product is the second one, full stop.
2. Spec discipline

YOUR DEPTH: BACKEND & SYSTEMS
Backend and Systems is the spine of the product. The API serves customers. The data layer encodes obligations and their relationships -- the actual compliance content we sell.
We combined Backend and Systems into one depth because, at our scale and with agent leverage, the historical split (web-tier engineer vs. data-platform engineer) is artificial. The agent helps with all of it. Your job is to make sure the layers compose correctly.
Required depth
- API design and contract evolution.
- Relational depth.
- Graph data modeling.
- Pipeline / batch / streaming systems.
- Python application engineering at a senior level.
- Performance instincts.
- Search and retrieval awareness.
