Job Summary
We are looking for a Finance Executive to support the day-to-day accounting, finance, payroll, and compliance functions of the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in handling financial transactions, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims.
- Verify supporting documents and obtain necessary approvals.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate vendor payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Raise customer invoices and credit notes.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records.
Accounting & Reconciliation
- Record accounting entries accurately in the accounting system.
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger and supporting schedules.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Payroll & Employee Reimbursements
- Support monthly payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
- Process employee reimbursements and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with HR on payroll-related matters.
Taxation & Compliance
- Assist in GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory filings.
- Maintain statutory records and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly reports and schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
- Support management reporting requirements.
General Administration
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of finance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Support ad hoc finance and administrative assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in staffing, recruitment, consulting, or IT services industry.
- Experience handling payroll and multi-state compliance.
- Exposure to international accounting and intercompany transactions.
