Role Description This contract role is for an Oracle SCM/WMS Techno Functional professional based in Pasadena, CA in a hybrid model, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves configuring, enhancing, and supporting Oracle SCM and WMS modules, including gathering requirements, mapping them to Oracle capabilities, and implementing functional and technical solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, preparing functional designs, collaborating with technical teams for customizations and integrations, and performing system testing and validation. The role also includes providing end-user support, troubleshooting production issues, coordinating deployments, and creating documentation such as configuration guides, test scripts, and training materials. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders and consulting teams to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement of Oracle SCM/WMS solutions.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Oracle Applications in SCM and WMS, including configuration, functional design, and basic technical understanding.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing Business Processes related to supply chain, inventory, warehouse operations, and order management.
  • Background in Consulting, with experience gathering requirements, leading workshops, and translating business needs into Oracle solutions.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HR or related Oracle modules to support cross-functional processes and integrations when required.
  • Hands-on experience with Integration of Oracle SCM/WMS with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
  • Ability to perform system testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and manage production support in a structured manner.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in hybrid and distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with global or multi-site Oracle implementations and exposure to standard project methodologies (e.g., Agile or waterfall) is beneficial.
