Position Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined Network Engineer Intern to join our Cloud Infrastructure & Networking team. This role is designed for early-career professionals looking to build expertise in enterprise networking, cloud networking, data center infrastructure, and managed services operations within a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environment.

The successful candidate will support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure that underpins cloud, hosting, colocation, disaster recovery, and managed service platforms. Working alongside experienced network and cloud engineers, the Associate Network Engineer will gain hands-on exposure to modern networking technologies, service provider architectures, cloud connectivity, network security, automation, and large-scale infrastructure operations.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about networking and cloud technologies to develop practical expertise in supporting highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure environments.


Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or information technology


Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor network infrastructure to ensure maximum availability, performance, and reliability across customer and internal environments.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and diagnosis of network incidents, outages, and service degradations.
  • Analyze alerts and events generated by monitoring systems and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineering teams while maintaining ownership of incident coordination.
  • Participate in 24x7 operational support activities as per business requirements.

Infrastructure Administration

  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and administration of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
  • Support implementation of customer network provisioning, connectivity changes, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Assist in maintaining routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and firewall configurations under supervision.
  • Support network capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management activities.

Cloud & Data Center Networking

  • Assist in managing cloud networking environments supporting virtualized and multi-tenant infrastructure platforms.
  • Support implementation and troubleshooting of cloud connectivity solutions, private networking, and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Participate in data center networking projects involving high-availability and redundant network designs.
  • Gain exposure to software-defined networking (SDN), EVPN-VXLAN, and modern data center architectures.

Service Management & Documentation

  • Adhere to Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes.
  • Ensure timely updates within ticketing systems and operational platforms.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs.

Learning & Development

  • Participate in structured technical training, certification programs, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop expertise in cloud networking, network security, automation, and service provider technologies.
  • Stay updated with emerging networking trends, technologies, and best practices.
