Role Overview

The Director – Digital will lead Chandigarh University's digital marketing strategy, brand visibility, lead generation, performance marketing, and digital transformation initiatives. The role is responsible for driving student acquisition, enhancing online engagement, optimizing digital channels, and maximizing ROI across all digital marketing efforts to support the university's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with enrollment and branding goals.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance student acquisition and engagement.
  • Drive innovation through AI-powered marketing, automation, and emerging digital technologies.
  • Establish annual digital marketing plans, budgets, and performance metrics.

Performance Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Lead paid marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Drive lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, CPL, CAC, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
  • Optimize marketing spend to maximize admissions and revenue outcomes.

Brand & Digital Presence

  • Strengthen Chandigarh University's digital brand presence across all online channels.
  • Oversee website strategy, SEO, content marketing, social media, and online reputation management.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and user experience across digital touchpoints.
  • Drive engagement through innovative digital campaigns and content strategies.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor teams across Performance Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Content, Creative Design, Video Production, and Web Development.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Branding, International Affairs, Academics, and Leadership teams.
  • Manage agency partnerships, technology vendors, and marketing platforms.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Establish data-driven marketing frameworks and dashboards.
  • Analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Present regular performance reports and growth recommendations to senior leadership.

Website & Marketing Technology

  • Oversee website performance, user experience, CRO, and digital infrastructure.
  • Drive adoption of CRM, marketing automation, AI tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Ensure digital assets are optimized for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
