Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
" Assess VMware vSphere environments (compute, storage, networking, dependencies) to support migration planning
" Execute VMware-to-AHV migration strategies following detailed runbooks
" Perform virtual machine migrations using tools such as Nutanix Move or equivalent
" Coordinate and execute cutover activities within agreed maintenance windows
" Validate migrated workloads, including performance, networking, and application functionality
" Resolve migration-related issues such as driver compatibility, networking, or storage configuration
" Produce migration documentation and handover materials for operational teams
Required Skills & Experience
" Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
" Proven experience migrating workloads from VMware to Nutanix AHV
" Solid understanding of virtual networking, storage, and guest OS configuration
" Experience planning and executing migrations in enterprise environments
" Ability to work to change control and release management processes
