SAP BODS
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BODS Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) across multiple systems and data sources.
Data Integration & Migration: Assist in the integration and migration of large datasets between various systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
Data Warehousing: Support the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing solutions leveraging SAP BODS for ETL and data transformation.
ETL Process Optimization: Build and optimize ETL processes, workflows, and jobs to improve performance, streamline processes, and ensure efficient data flow.
Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and cleansing techniques to ensure high-quality data across all integrated systems.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SAP BODS jobs and processes to ensure smooth operation and resolve any issues that arise.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for BODS jobs, ETL processes, data mappings, and transformation logic to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.
Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
Testing & Validation: Conduct testing of SAP BODS jobs, workflows, and transformations to validate that data migration and integration processes meet business requirements and quality standards.
Data Performance & Monitoring: Monitor and optimize data processing performance within the SAP BODS environment to ensure efficiency and minimize processing time.
Upgrades & Patches: Assist in upgrading and applying patches to the SAP BODS platform to ensure that the system is up-to-date with the latest features and security updates.
