Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable eCommerce solutions using SFCC (B2C Commerce).
Customize storefront functionalities, cartridges, controllers, pipelines, and business manager configurations.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, and marketing platforms.
Build reusable components, APIs, and custom features following SFCC best practices.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations for commerce solutions.
Optimize website performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Support deployment activities and CI/CD implementation.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
7.5+ years of software development experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce).
Strong expertise in:
SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
Controllers, ISML, OCAPI, SCAPI
JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
RESTful APIs and Web Services
Business Manager configuration
Catalog, Product, Pricing, Promotions, and Inventory management
Experience with payment gateway integrations and third-party service integrations.
Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture and best practices.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and security practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SFCC Developer Certification (B2C Commerce Developer) preferred.
Experience with Salesforce ecosystem integrations.
Knowledge of Headless Commerce, PWA Kit, or Composable Commerce architectures.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience working in global delivery models and client-facing environments.
