The Azure APIM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying APIs using Microsoft Azure API Management. This role focuses on implementing API solutions, applying policies, and ensuring secure and efficient integration between systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• API Development & Configuration:
o Develop and configure APIs in Azure API Management.
o Implement API policies (rate limiting, caching, transformation, etc.).
o Create and manage API products and subscriptions.
• Integration & Backend Connectivity:
o Connect APIs to backend services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.).
o Implement request/response transformations using policies.
• Security & Compliance:
o Apply authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD).
o Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
• Testing & Deployment:
o Perform unit and integration testing of APIs.
o Deploy APIs using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Monitoring & Support:
o Configure monitoring and logging for APIs.
o Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
