Skill Set Mandatory: • VoIP, SIP protocol expertise • Cisco Broadsoft experience • IP networking (QoS, routing, security protocols) • UC collaboration applications and presence • Unified Communications (UCaaS/CPaaS) – video/audio conferencing, messaging, SMS, collaboration, contact center • Cloud technologies, virtualization, automation • DevOps, CI/CD methodologies • Security and operational tools • Strong design and problem-solving skills • Ability to debug UC and VoIP protocol interworking issues Preferred: • Ribbon Client, Ericsson IMS, Microsoft, Poly voice/video technologies • API-driven integrations with third-party UC providers • Familiarity with industry standards and ability to drive adoption • Advanced knowledge of telecom equipment and practices Job Description • Serve as Sr. Product Engineer for UC solutions – architecture, prototyping, detailed designs, protocols, testing, deployment • Translate business and operational requirements into technical designs and prototypes • Drive vendor excellence and operational support for UC products • Design strategic solutions for scalability, resiliency, and long-term sustainability • Implement preventative measures for uptime and optimal UC performance • Author and maintain detailed design documents • Interface with product teams to review new requests and define technical requirements • Lead operational model definition and security vulnerability monitoring • Participate in industry standards and apply them to new service concepts • Perform complex and routine updates for UC products • Maintain awareness of market and product developments |
