THE ROLE

HRBP - Non Tech

We are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to support our non-technology business functions (e.g., operations, sourcing, merchandising, manufacturing, quality, corporate teams). The role will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people agenda, organizational effectiveness, and talent outcomes aligned with business goals.

Primary Accountabilities :

1. Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the non tech managers, leads and employees on all HR matters, including talent management, performance, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Partner with the teams to translate team needs into people solutions that drive productivity, engagement, and innovation.
  • Support the development and execution of HR strategies in areas such as identification of top performers, low performers plan for each of them and pulse of the teams and individuals.

2. Employee Engagement and Culture:

  • Champion the development of a strong, innovative, and inclusive culture within the Non - tech organization.
  • Lead employee engagement efforts, including team pulse surveys, feedback sessions, and action plans to improve engagement, morale, and retention.

3. Talent Development & Retention:

  • Support career development and growth opportunities for non tech talent, including trainings, leadership development, and mentorship programs.
  • Collaborate with non tech leaders on workforce planning, role design, and promotions to ensure high-performing teams are built and sustained.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce turnover, enhance employee satisfaction, and improve retention rates within non tech teams.

4. Performance Management & Coaching:

  • Partner with managers to implement performance management processes (30-60-90-day plans, drive monthly 1:1 pulse , annual reviews loops).
  • Coach managers on team dynamics, conflict resolution, and effective communication within non tech teams.
  • Identify and address underperformance early, ensuring right action.

5. Data-Driven HR Decisions:

  • Analyze key people metrics (turnover, headcount, engagement, etc.) to make data-driven recommendations and improvements.
  • Work with the HR analytics team to develop dashboards for tracking the success of people initiatives within non tech departments.
  • Implement best practices within recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts specific to the non tech organization.

6. Employee Relations & Compliance:

  • Handle employee relations matters, investigations, and escalations, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and leadership to address concerns and proactively resolve conflicts.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HRBP role supporting non-tech/business teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Solid understanding of HR practices across talent management, engagement, and HR operations
  • Experience working in industries like retail, manufacturing, sourcing, or consumer businesses preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Exposure to multi-location workforce /field workforce (is good to have)
