Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Application Support - ERP Finance

Location-Gurgaon / Indore

I. Job Summary

This intermediate-level position is responsible for the configuration, support, and

enhancement of ERP Finance applications (primarily Oracle Fusion Cloud

Financials). The role partners closely with Finance business users to ensure stable

operations, accurate financial processing, and continuous system improvements.

As part of the ERP Application Support team, this position provides techno-

functional support across core Finance modules, supports month-end close

activities, resolves production issues, and contributes to system enhancements with a

focus on process simplification, automation, data integrity, and standardization.

The role requires strong understanding of finance processes such as P2P, O2C, and

R2R, along with hands-on ERP exposure.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Monitor ERP Finance systems and support queues; analyze, troubleshoot, and

resolve application-related issues

Provide production support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial modules

including:

o General Ledger (GL)

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Fixed Assets (FA)

o Cash Management (CM)

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions

Configure and maintain ERP setups based on documented business

requirements

Evaluate impact of configuration changes on sub-ledgers, SLA, GL, and

downstream systems

Support ERP releases, patches, and upgrades, including:

o Regression testing

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

o Production validation

Execute and validate data imports/exports using FBDI and other tools

Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation between source systems, sub-

ledgers, and GL

Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and

SOPs

Develop and support basic OTBI and BI Publisher reports

Collaborate with integration teams on data flows between ERP and external

systems

Support ERP compliance, audit requests, and controls documentation

Provide Tier-2 support for user queries and assist in creating training/job aids

Act as a Finance SME and stay current with Oracle Fusion features and best

practices

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent

(MBA/CA preferred)

Experience:

Minimum 6+ years of ERP/Oracle Fusion Finance Application Support experience
