Media Planning Manager

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager – Media Planning & Buying to lead end-to-end media planning and execution for a portfolio of clients across performance and brand mandates. This role requires a strong blend of client servicing, strategic thinking, and hands-on media expertise across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Servicing & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key paid media clients
- Understand client business goals and translate them into effective media strategies
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Present media strategies, performance reports, and optimization plans to clients
2. Media Planning & Strategy
- Develop integrated digital media plans across channels (Search, Social, Display, Programmatic, Video, Affiliates, etc.)
- Align media strategies with both performance (ROI-driven) and branding (awareness & reach) objectives
- Identify audience cohorts, channel mix, and budget allocation for maximum efficiency
- Stay updated with platform innovations and incorporate them into planning
3. Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) & Forecasting
- Lead the creation of AOPs, quarterly and monthly media roadmaps
- Forecast spends, performance metrics, and growth opportunities
- Track plan vs. actuals and optimize for improved outcomes
4. Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, and execution across platforms
- Ensure timely delivery and adherence to campaign KPIs
- Work closely with platform teams for continuous optimization (bidding strategies, creatives, targeting, etc.)
- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective measures
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze campaign performance and derive actionable insights
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards highlighting key metrics and learnings
- Present data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness
6. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor and guide executives/AMs within the team
- Collaborate with creative, content, and analytics teams for integrated campaign delivery
- Ensure process adherence and operational efficiency
Key Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in digital media planning & buying
- Strong understanding of platforms like Google Ads, Meta, DV360, Programmatic, etc.
- Experience in handling both performance and brand campaigns
- Proven track record of managing client relationships independently
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
