The Opportunity:
The Copywriter will play a key role in shaping the voice and storytelling of Queen Elizabeth’s School, Gurugram across all communication channels. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented professional with a strong command of written English and the ability to craft compelling, engaging, and high-quality content that reflects the prestige and values of the institution.
As a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, you will contribute towards strengthening the school’s brand presence, enhancing audience engagement, and supporting admissions and outreach initiatives through impactful storytelling and communication strategies. The Role:
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Develop compelling, clear, and engaging copy for websites, brochures, newsletters, presentations, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and school publications.
- Create impactful storytelling content highlighting student achievements, faculty excellence, school events, and institutional milestones.
- Write persuasive admissions and outreach communication materials to support enrolment growth.
Brand Voice & Communication
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all communication platforms.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Admissions teams to align communication with the school’s vision and positioning.
- Maintain high editorial standards and ensure all communication reflects the premium identity of the school.
Digital & Marketing Content
- Develop content for digital campaigns, social media platforms, and online engagement initiatives.
- Support SEO-friendly content creation for the website and digital marketing activities.
- Contribute creative ideas and messaging concepts for campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
Editing & Proofreading
- Edit and proofread all communication materials to ensure accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure all published content is polished, error-free, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Review content created by internal teams and external agencies where required.
Research & Collaboration
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor communication, audience preferences, and education sector developments.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, marketing professionals, and school leadership teams for integrated campaigns and communication initiatives.
- Participate in brainstorming and campaign planning discussions to generate innovative content ideas.
Internal Communication Support
- Assist in drafting internal announcements, leadership messages, speeches, and institutional communication.
- Support school events and initiatives with creative content and communication planning.
The Person:
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, marketing communications, branding, or a related role.
- Prior experience in education, premium brands, media, advertising, or digital marketing environments will be an advantage.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative writing and communication capabilities across multiple platforms

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail with excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and communication formats.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
