Job Description - Offline Media Planner (Entry Level)
Location: Gurgaon
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Offline Media Planner . This role offers an opportunity to work across traditional media channels, supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of campaigns for leading brands.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in media, consumer behavior, market trends, and campaign planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of media plans across traditional channels including Television, Print, Radio, Cinema, and Out-of-Home (OOH)
- Assist in media research, audience analysis, and competitive benchmarking
- Coordinate with media partners, publishers, broadcasters, and internal teams for campaign execution
- Prepare media plans, schedules, release orders, and campaign documentation
- Monitor campaign delivery and maintain campaign trackers and reports
- Analyse campaign performance and provide insights for optimization
- Support client servicing teams with data, reports, and media recommendations
- Track industry trends, audience consumption patterns, and media innovations
- Ensure timely execution and reporting of campaigns
Eligibility Criteria
- 0-2 years of experience in Media Planning, Advertising, Marketing, or related fields
- Freshers with internships in media agencies, advertising agencies, or marketing roles are encouraged to apply
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Media Studies, or a related field
Required Skills
- Strong interest in traditional media and advertising
- Good analytical and numerical abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with large datasets and reports
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
Good to Have
- Internship experience in a media agency or advertising agency
- Basic understanding of media planning metrics such as Reach, Frequency, GRPs, CPRP, and TRPs
- Familiarity with media research tools and audience measurement concepts
