This allows us to assemble diverse perspectives, comprehensive knowledge, and specialized know-how to deliver the best software products and services to our clients.\n\nWe are looking for an Electrical Wire Harness (EWH) Engineer to create, build, and maintain a highly detailed electrical/interconnect parts database, including all available technical parameters.

The selected candidate will be part of a high-performance team immersed in the high-intensity development of engineering software tools.\n\nAbout\nPosition name: Data Librarian\nCategory: Electric Wiring Harness (EWH) Engineering\nMinimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, or 2 years of experience in either engineering/or supply-chain for wire harness and electronics components instead of a degree.\nEngagement terms: Temp to hire\nAvailability: Full-time Job\nLocation: Remote\n\nQualifications\nExtensive understanding of the development of electrical wiring harness ( EWH ) designs\nExtensive use and selection of the electrical industry components' data sheets\nExcellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple changing priorities.\nStrong Google Sheets or Excel is a MUST\nUnderstanding IPC/WHMA-A-620 and Mil-Aerospace standards such as MIL-DTL-3899, MIL-C-38999, MIL-C-24308, MIL-83513, and MIL-STD-1553 is a plus.\nWorking knowledge of any ECAD/CAD for wire harnesses is a plus.\n\nResponsibilities\nIdentify designated parts and research specification details by scouring potential sources such as parts catalogs, standard specifications, industry/military standards, commercial and public databases (MRP outputs), and replacement and cross-reference tables.\nDocument EWH Detail/Assembly data into the company's electrical parts CAD database portal, using manual, automatic, and semi-automatic tools (OCR or APIs) to scrape data from sources referred above.\nWork with the development team to identify, design, test, and implement methods and tools to scale up data entry and data integrity throughout the parts lifecycle.\nDocument process used once optimized.\nWork independently and eventually lead a team, providing direction and technical mentoring to direct reports.\n\nSoft skills\nExcellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills: English\nFamiliar with Excel or Google Sheets\nExperience leading skilled technical teams.\nSelf-motivated/ability to produce results unsupervised.\nProactive/self-learner (onboarding training will be provided)\nProfessional, honest, and ethical conduct is always expected.\nPlease ensure clear, consistent communication with internal and external customers.\nAvailability to work remotely in a productive environment.
