Summary- We are looking for experienced Credit Research professionals with strong expertise in financial statement analysis, investment-grade credit research, and financial modeling. The role requires close collaboration with global teams while covering a portfolio of issuers across sectors. Candidates with exposure to Industrials and Auto sectors will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fundamental credit research on assigned issuers and analyze absolute credit risk, business fundamentals, and key risk mitigants.
• Prepare high-quality credit reports highlighting investment rationale, key triggers, and credit outlook.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including projections, scenario analysis, ratio analysis, and peer benchmarking.
• Prepare earnings summaries and identify key financial trends, operational insights, and market developments.
• Participate in earnings calls, roadshows, industry conferences, and discussions with management teams and rating agencies.
• Monitor coverage universe for restructuring activities, event risks, capital structure changes, shareholder developments, and industry disruptions.
• Support thematic research projects, sector updates, and industry trend analysis impacting credit markets.
• Assist in tactical trade execution ideas and portfolio management initiatives.
• Develop presentations, databases, and investment materials for senior stakeholders and investment teams.
• Collaborate extensively with global research teams and contribute to investment decision-making processes.

Requirements

• MBA/PGDM in Finance or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute.
• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA will be an added advantage.
• 4+ years of experience in Credit Research, Fixed Income Research, Financial Analysis, or Investment Research.
• Strong experience in:

• Credit report writing
• Financial statement analysis
• Financial modeling & forecasting
• Fixed income securities analysis
• Investment-grade credit analysis

• Strong understanding of capital markets, credit risk assessment, and investment frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present investment views clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar financial databases.
• Exposure to Industrials and Auto sectors will be preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global stakeholders.
