About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Business Finance professional who will partner closely with business and leadership teams to drive financial planning, business performance management, strategic decision-making, and profitability improvement initiatives. The role requires strong financial acumen, business understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for business functions.
- Analyze business performance, revenue trends, margins, and cost structures to provide actionable insights.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Prepare and present MIS, financial dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Monitor key business metrics, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support leadership with financial modeling, scenario planning, and business case analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, HR, and Accounts for financial alignment.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Support investor reporting, audits, and strategic finance projects as required.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, compliance, and governance processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance roles.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in startup, FMCG, retail, agritech, or high-growth organizations preferred.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, track performance, and resolve financial queries.
- Advanced Excel skills and Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Strong business acumen with problem-solving and decision-making capability.
