Job Role: PGT (Computer Science) (Cambridge)

Location: Sector 70A, Gurgaon

Job Summary

Kunskapsskolan International is seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, practical programming expertise, and the ability to create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment that promotes computational thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level Computer Science).
• Teach core topics such as: Programming (Python preferred), Algorithms & Data Structures Databases and SQL, Computer Networks
• Emerging Technologies (AI, ML, Cloud Computing basics)
• Prepare students for Cambridge examinations through assessments, mock tests, projects, and revision strategies.
• Design practical coding assignments, lab activities, and real-world problem-solving tasks.
• Maintain records of student progress, attendance, assessments, and performance reports.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.
• Support students in research projects, coding competitions, and innovation challenges.
• Participate in curriculum planning, faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student development.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA or related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/mandatory as per school norms.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes.
• Experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level curriculum preferred.
