About the role:
You own the outbound motion and turn it into a disciplined, repeatable, multi-segment engine, without losing the personalization that makes it land.
You won’t be inventing the playbook from scratch. There’s already a research and prospecting engine in place: an Airtable-based prospect database, an AI agent running daily account intelligence, a signal taxonomy with decay windows, a Fit Score for prioritization. Your job is to operate that engine across four buyer segments, book qualified conversations, and tighten the motion as you go.
This is the first dedicated growth hire. If it proves out, you build and lead the function under you.
What you will own
- Segmented outbound across four verticals - Research, list-building, sequencing, and personalized messaging tuned to each buyer segment.
- The prospecting engine in practice - Working LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Tier A contact mapping, maintaining the Airtable database, and acting on the signals the AI agent surfaces rather than spraying volume.
- The writing - Most of this motion is personalized written outreach. You’ll draft, adapt the established voice per segment, test variants, and own reply quality. Strong writing is the job, not a nice-to-have.
- Qualified pipeline creation - Book quality conversations for designated sellers.
- Events - Run your own virtual and in-person events to engage with prospects and start the relationship, focused on building trust on what Amzai has to offer.
- The feedback loop. What’s landing, what objections recur, where the ICP is off. You feed that back into messaging and targeting.

Who you are
- 8+ years in outbound, SDR/BDR, or growth, ideally in B2B services, events, or marketing-adjacent businesses.
- A track record of personalized outbound that books real conversations, not high-volume sequence setting.
- A genuinely strong writer who can hold a consistent voice and shift register across very different buyers, and hold its own against AI slop.
- Disciplined with a system. Comfortable in Sales Navigator, Airtable or similar, sequencing tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Built for early-stage ambiguity, but process-minded enough to make the motion repeatable.
