Role Overview

Hiring for our client Johnson & Johnson, a Comm-ex Executive plays a pivotal role in driving Commercial Excellence within the organisation. This individual is responsible for ensuring Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and maximising the utility of the Salesforce (EyeForce) CRM platform — equipping sales teams with the tools, training, analytics, and operational support needed to consistently achieve their targets.

This role offers a compelling mix of strategic oversight and hands-on operational management. It is ideal for candidates who are passionate about leveraging technology and data to drive measurable improvements in sales performance and commercial operations.

Key Objectives:

  • Enhance Salesforce (EyeForce) user adoption and overall platform effectiveness across the sales organisation
  • Drive improvements in sales performance through data-driven insights and actionable analytics
  • Provide structured training and ongoing support to sales and marketing teams on CRM functionalities
  • Maintain data integrity, process discipline, and commercial reporting standards at all times

Duties & Responsibilities

CRM Management & Administration (EyeForce / Salesforce)

  • Manage and maintain the CRM system (EyeForce) built on the Salesforce platform; lead the rollout of new modules as part of regional enhancement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data flow within EyeForce; manage system access by provisioning new joiners and revoking access upon employee exits
  • Conduct quarterly EyeForce training sessions for the sales force and resolve ad-hoc field queries on a daily basis

Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)

  • Create and maintain new SFE assets to support field team productivity and performance tracking
  • Drive SFE report adoption and enhancements; generate actionable insights and conduct structured review discussions with ASMs and RMs to identify and close performance gaps
  • Support funnel management — ensure a robust and up-to-date opportunity pipeline is maintained at all times for Veritas and Elita product lines

Data Management & Analytics

  • Streamline sales processes and systems through disciplined data management practices
  • Ensure master data accuracy through proper documentation and approval workflows
  • Lead quarterly market share analysis and competitive benchmarking exercises to assess market positioning
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior management and field leadership

Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Support

  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment and operational support for sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide value-added analytical and operational support
  • Support the broader Comm-ex team in streamlining and continuously improving commercial business operations

Experience & Education

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry
  • Proven track record in data management, sales analytics, sales operations, or Salesforce/CRM administration
  • Prior experience working with field sales teams and commercial excellence functions is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, KPIs, and performance metrics in a pharma/medtech context

Education

  • B.Pharma, B.Tech, or MBA (or equivalent qualification) from a recognised institution

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and EyeForce modules
  • Data analysis and reporting — Excel, Tableau or equivalent
  • Dashboard creation and SFE reporting
  • Market share analysis and competitive analytics
  • CRM data governance and master data management
  • Sales funnel tracking and pipeline management
