Job Description

The client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join their panel manufacturing unit. The role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and electrical safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical panel production and the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.


Job Location : Dammam, Saudi Arabia


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assemble electrical control panels, switchboards, LV distribution panels, and related assemblies as per engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Perform panel wiring, cable crimping, lugging, termination, and dressing using approved tools and techniques
  • Install and mount electrical components including MCBs, MCCBs, relays, contactors, meters, PLCs, terminal blocks, and control devices
  • Support panel testing activities, including continuity checks, functional testing, and fault rectification
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and correct wiring errors, component mismatches, or assembly issues
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications, and applicable IEC / IS standards
  • Follow electrical safety procedures and best practices during all stages of production
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean, safe, and organized condition
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow technicians to meet production schedules and delivery targets
  • Accurately document work progress, modifications, inspections, and test results


Required Qualifications & Experience:


  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly and wiring (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, GA drawings, and technical documents
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical components, tools, and standard wiring practices
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and shop-floor best practices
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills


Preferred Skills (Optional):


  • Experience with PLC / DCS panel wiring and automation systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of testing instruments such as multimeter, continuity tester, and megger
  • Basic understanding of panel design or documentation software (added advantage)
