Job Description - Software Tester (4) Years Experience)

Position: Software Tester
Experience: 4+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Tester with 4+ years of experience in manual testing to validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure quality deliverables. The candidate should be able to execute test cases independently and work closely with developers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Review requirements and understand application functionality.
* Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
* Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
* Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
* Validate bug fixes and ensure quality before release.
* Prepare test reports and communicate testing status.
* Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Required Skills

* 4+ years of experience in software testing.
* Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.
* Ability to create and execute test cases independently.
* Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and verification.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
* Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

* Basic knowledge of test automation tools and concepts.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
