Administrating and Supporting the Client's Informatica Platform, resolving infrastructure and access related issues. Maintaining security on development, test and production environments. Reviewing and promoting code changes to higher environments as per the Change Management Process. Identifying ways to improve Server Performance by eliminating Performance bottle necks and by utilizing latest functionalities of Informatica ETL Tool. Coordinating with multiple teams, tool vendor for planning and managing activities and to facilitate smooth operation of infrastructure. Perform Informatica upgrades, User & Group Management, repository backup. Identifying the root cause and taking corrective actions. To have minimum outage to business users keeping the failover mechanism active. Troubleshoot and fix any code migration issues.
Solution road map for future growth, process architecture and mapping of DR Functions Infrastructure and environment monitoring - CPU/Memory utilization, parallel loads on nodes, workflow monitoring, infra and environment issue troubleshooting. Perform root cause analysis to investigate BIDW infrastructure problems/incidents relevant to utilization of application management software/tools such as Informatica Respond to system outages, production execution failures and impacts to restore normal service operations as quickly as possible while adhering to stringent SLAs and minimize the adverse impact on business Perform deep dive analysis on incident trends and identify improvement opportunities, complete business value articulation for suggested improvements and then implement the same Manage Users, take repository backup and generate log files from Admin console through Incidents. Proactive production issue identification and resolution Perform root cause analysis on incidents that impact business, partnering with external teams whenever needed to ensure that recurring issues are resolved permanently Collect and analyze problem management metrics, trends and deliver continuous improvement in resolution turn-around times by process automations, improvements and tool upgrades Leverage technical and domain expertise to perform detailed requirement analysis and translate business needs into technical requirements Execute proof of concepts and perform solution evaluation wherever applicable in the response to business requirements Provide change review and governance services for all external teams wherever a change being made by external team has a potential to impact applications under his scope of responsibilities |
