ob Title: SSRS SME (SQL Server Reporting Services Subject Matter Expert)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SSRS SME to lead the design, development, and optimization of reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SSRS, SQL Server, and BI tools, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize existing SSRS reports for performance and usability.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting solutions.
- Work closely with database administrators and developers to integrate SSRS with SQL Server databases.
- Implement best practices for report deployment, version control, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues promptly.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on SSRS and BI tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SSRS development and administration.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions).
- Should have worked on Report builder.
- Expertise in designing complex reports, charts, and dashboards using SSRS.
- Experience with data modeling and relational database design.
- Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization for large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
