Job Description:
Manage Software Lifecycle Oversee the entire lifecycle of software assets, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and retirement. Ensure Compliance Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulations to avoid legal and financial risks. Optimize Licensing Analyze software usage and optimize licensing to reduce costs while meeting business needs. Maintain Inventory Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets, including licenses, contracts, and usage data. Support ITIL Processes Implement and support ITIL processes related to software asset management, such as Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM). Vendor Management Work with software vendors to negotiate contracts, manage renewals, and resolve disputes. Reporting and Analytics Generate reports on software asset usage, compliance, and costs to inform decision-making. Training and Support Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on software asset management practices.
