Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

• Build workflows using Orkes Conductor via code (SDKs), JSON, or the visual editor.
• Develop custom task workers in languages like Java, or JavaScript using Orkes SDKs.
• Ensure tasks handle retries, timeouts, and error recovery gracefully
• Integrate workflows with REST APIs and external services.
• Configure failure-handling, rate-limiting, and resilience parameters for workflows.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting using Orkes Conductor UI and observability tools
• Workflow versioning and rollback strategies.

Architect complex workflows for microservice orchestration, process automation flows-using Conductor SDKs (Java, Python, JS), JSON definitions, and the visual editor.
Implement task workers with robust retry, timeout, circuit-breaker and compensation logic. leverage system tasks for common patterns (HTTP, eventing, LLM tasks).
Integration with REST services, queues, and external services; design idempotent, stateless workers.
Operational excellence: configure rate limits, SLAs, and resilience parameters; create dashboards/alerts to monitor executions, and lead incident response for workflow failures.
Versioning & governance: Workflow versioning, migration plans, safe rollouts/rollbacks, and audit/compliance across environments.
Performance tuning: profile bottlenecks (task latency, queue depth, fanout), optimize throughput and guide capacity planning with SRE.
Coach & lead: Mentor team on orchestration best practices; contribute reusable templates/components and internal playbooks.
Quality & automation: Enforce testing strategies (unit/integration), CI/CD for workflow metadata and workers, and release hygiene.
